Make-Up Class Policy
We understand that life happens and students occasionally need to miss a class. To help students stay on track while also maintaining class structure and instructor planning, ENCORE offers the following make-up policy:
Eligibility
Students are entitled to one make-up class per missed class. Make-up classes are subject to instructor approval, must be at the appropriate level, and within the suitable age range.
Timely Attendance
To maintain consistency in learning and minimize disruption to classes, we encourage families to schedule make-up classes within 1–2 weeks of the missed class whenever possible.
Class Availability
Make-up classes are subject to class availability and capacity. We recommend scheduling make-ups as early as possible to secure a spot.
Current Term Only
All make-up classes must be completed within the current term and may not be carried forward into future terms, seasons, or sessions.
Make-Up Request Form Required
A Make-Up Class Request Form must be submitted for each missed class. Requests should be submitted individually and include the reason for the absence. This process helps our staff track attendance, maintain accurate records, and place students in appropriate make-up classes.
No Bulk Make-Up Scheduling
Make-up classes may not be accumulated and redeemed as multiple make-ups in a singular class at the end of a term. Each missed class should be scheduled individually and within a reasonable timeframe of the original absence.
Missed Make-Up Classes
There is no making up for a make-up once it has been scheduled. If you do not attend your scheduled make-up class, the make-up will be forfeited.
Additional Policies
Classes canceled by ENCORE are not considered absences and will be handled separately. Make-up classes have no cash value and are non-transferable between family members.
By adhering to these guidelines, we aim to ensure a positive and equitable experience for all students at our studio.
Once we receive your class make-up form, we will confirm with you via email.
To request a make-up class, submit a separate form for each missed class.
