ENCORE’s Company & Crew is our audition-based performance and competitive program for dancers who are ready to deepen their training, expand their artistry, and experience a wide range of opportunities both on and off the stage. Dancers train in multiple styles, perform in both community and competitive settings, and are placed on teams designed to support both their current level and future potential.
Our program is built to develop strong technique, authentic artistry, confidence, teamwork, and the ability to navigate both success and challenge with maturity. Through training, conventions, battles, competitions, creative projects, performances, and shared experiences, dancers are challenged and inspired as they develop not only as artists, but as humans, building lifelong memories, friendships, and skills that extend far beyond the stage.

Parent Meeting:

For new and returning parents, join us as we walk through the season, review the Company & Crew Handbook, and answer questions. Both meetings will cover the same information, so you only need to attend one. Attending a parent meeting is required; however, if you are unable to attend either of the dates below, we will schedule a private or semi-private meeting with you.

Dancers need to audition for the age they are on January 1st, 2027

Dancers should attend auditions for any style they are interested in being considered for in for teams, solos, duos, or trios. Dancers will only be considered for styles they audition in. Auditions are intended for placement and evaluation, not as an opportunity to try a style for the first time.

Styles have foundational requirements. These will be outlined in your audition form and they exist to make sure dancers are set up to succeed. (Contemporary requires Ballet, Jazz & Acro, Hip Hop requires Popping & Breaking, Tap requires Jazz & Ballet and the like)

Street Style Expansion - If you are interested in competing in styles such as Breaking, Locking, House, and/or Waacking, please attend the Hip Hop audition and note your interests on your audition form. Popping will have a separate audition time.

Please be sure to carefully review all information in the audition form. We also ask that you are clear about what opportunities you are interested in participating in, including styles, groups, routines, solos, duos, trios, and commitment level. Online Auditions: Can’t attend our audition date? We’ve got you covered! Please fill out the audition form and select “Yes” under the online audition option. Once submitted, you will receive details regarding how to proceed, including what materials will need to be emailed in for your audition. (Please note that dancers will not being evaluated on video quality, editing, filming location, or production value.) Online auditions are due by June 14th.
We are excited to see each dancer’s individuality, artistry, and authentic self throughout the audition process. Most importantly, we want dancers to enjoy the experience, celebrate their growth, and allow themselves to be fully seen.
