ENCORE Dress Code

The following dress code requirements are listed by style.

ENCORES Retail Shop can assist you 30 min before your class begins.​

Acro

All - fitted top/leotard, leggings/shorts/fitted flexible pants/joggers, barefoot

​

Hair pulled out of face, preferably parted in the middle. 

​

Ballet

Girls​ - black leotard, pink ballet tights* & shoes*, hair in a bun. Skirts welcome for 5yrs & younger.

​

*Students of color are welcome to wear their skin tone.

​

Boys - â€‹black leggings​, socks and ballet shoes, white fitted top.

​

Breaking

​All - loose comfortable bottoms​ (no shorts), loose comfortable top, socks, athletic shoes

 

Bring - jacket/sweater - no logos on back (for spinning)

​

Optional - beanie 

​

Hair pulled out of face

Creative
Movement

​All - Flexible clothing​, sock/barefoot

Contemporary

All - fitted top/leotard, 

leggings/shorts/fitted flexible pants, barefoot/socks (both should be available)

Hair pulled back or in pony

Hip Hop

​All - loose comfortable bottoms, loose comfortable top, socks, athletic/tennis shoes​

​

Hair pulled out of face

Jazz

All - fitted top/leotard, 

leggings/shorts/fitted flexible pants, barefoot/socks (both should be available), jazz shoes 

​

Hair pulled back or in pony

Popping

All - loose comfortable bottoms, 

loose comfortable top, socks, tennis shoes​

 

Hair pulled out of face

Tap

All - fitted top/leotard​, leggings/shorts/fitted flexible pants, socks, black tap shoes.

 

​Hair pulled back or in pony

Waacking

All - loose comfortable bottoms​, loose comfortable top, socks, athletic/tennis shoes​
